Users frequently praise their seamless software integration, effective active noise cancellation (ANC), and surprisingly good sound quality that rivals some dedicated audiophile gear. However, opinions are mixed regarding their long-term durability, with several reports of battery degradation and hardware issues appearing after two to three years of use.

Pros

  • Seamless integration and ease of use within the Apple ecosystem

  • Well-controlled bass and sound quality that follows the Harman curve well
  • Highly portable and convenient for everyday carry (EDC)

Cons

  • Battery longevity tends to degrade significantly after 2-3 years
  • Batteries are impossible to replace, limiting the product's lifespan

They sound worse than my AirPods Pro 2, with the treble especially not being any more revealing as well as the mids being kind of the same as said AirPods.

I currently use AirPods Pro 2 earbuds, which have been great so far, but the in-ear pressure is also a lot sometimes, and it hurts sometimes.

Honestly, as someone with a vast collection of headphones, my recommendation (that I use personally for this purpose); airpods pro 2. They're comfortable (and I say this as someone who struggles with IEMs), sound good, have a very natural sounding transparency mode and great ANC, the case is tiny and slips right into the watch pocket on your jeans. As a full package, they're hard to beat.

I'll probably buy her the Galaxy buds since the sony ones seems to be overkill for her. She just listens to audiobooks mostly.

Galaxy Buds are lightest, AirPods most universal fit, Sony can be fatiguing for long sessions.
