Wyze

Pros
- Wyze- outdoor, indoor, and smart door lock. No issues with them.
- I would probably recommend Wyze over Sylvania just because they seem to have a little more flexible options, but neither are too pricey and both could achieve what you wanted to do.
- Wyze - https://www.wyze.com/collections/video-doorbells Love their cameras. Plus a lot of features are free unlike most other camera companies out there.
- You could also add a camera indoors like a Wyze or Furbo.
- Best one we've used (and we tried 4 or 5 of the highest rated ones) has been Wyze. No backup key but everything else. It just works really well.
Cons
- I was hesitant as well but really hated Nest and Wyze.
- I'd stay away from Wyze
- I don't trust Wyze's soft on/off button
- To say Wyze is "under-supported" in HA would be an under statement:) They do not play well and Wyze does not intend to play well with other systems.
- The last brand I purchased was Wyze.

I'm looking at DIY options like SimpliSafe, Ring Alarm, and Wyze versus professional monitoring from ADT or Vivint.
I did exactly this, but with Wyze. ... Note that I don't recommend Wyze anymore unless someone wants a super cheap option; I myself am looking to move to Reolink.
