Pros
- I’m a big fan of Wusthof and Shun.
- There are nice sets out there. Wusthof comes to mind, they have many different sets.
- I plan to get Wusthof knives but not as a set.
- Wusthof has been doing me will for over 15 years
- Wusthof is a wonderful brand.
Cons
- For western made stuff don't get a Wusthof. Overpriced crap that performs worse than a Victorinox from the restaurant supply store.
- I have Wusthof and Henckels blades around as well, But I only use them for tough squashes and when I might run into bones.
- The ones I've read the most about and generally they are good reviews are Victorinox & Wusthof.
- Wusthof are another make.
- About $15 used. Seriously. Pretty meh quality mushy stainless blades.

Knives…. Best to go to a shop and try them out. I ended up not liking knives that were recommended by a couple of friends. I chose a Wusthof that felt good in my hand.
I have all Wustof knives, and have had this Santoku knife for years. Very high quality and great all around
If you want to spend any more money upgrade the chefs knife to something like a tojiro or wusthof.
