Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • I definitely spend money co-ops or Whole Foods for the items that ARE worth it but it’s just that there aren’t many unless it’s a specialty item.
  • Whole Foods may be an exception; many of there stores carry fresh beans from better quality roasters.
  • Also whole foods will slice steaks or you.
  • Whole foods is my go to! Pretty solid imo
  • Whole Foods, I know, is adaptable. They let the individual stores decide what they want and buy up entire output of some of the small producers which can mean some interesting wines at good prices

Cons

  • Whole Foods also carries it but it’s hit or miss.
  • I do like Aldi but I doubt it has "legit the same stuff" as Whole Foods...
  • Whole Foods should never have tried to be anything more than a specialty grocery store. You should go there for things like cheeses, wines, meats….items that are not carried at your grocery store, or if you want to talk it over with an e...
  • ngl whole foods is a scam fr like you can get legit the same stuff at aldi
  • and more than double at high end places like Whole Foods, Fresh Market.

Whole Foods should never have tried to be anything more than a specialty grocery store. You should go there for things like cheeses, wines, meats….items that are not carried at your grocery store, or if you want to talk it over with an expert.
