Try when the wolf comes home by nat Cassidy. I think it’s from this year. The author was new to me. This is a book with a relentless pace. Only book I’ve read recently with that kind of pacing. It just runs.
Absolutely fantastic, pretty much as close to a 10/10 as it gets for me. Would love a prequel, sequel, anything else set in this universe for more stories. Also, THAT twist at the end had literal tears welling up.
When The Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy is a non stop thrill ride with a hook/premise I think about daily but don’t want to spoil because it’s not in the blurb!

Was really disappointed in When the Wolf Comes Home for many reasons, but partially because I thought it would be really fun to read a book about people on the run from a werewolf.
WTWCH is a little different because I thought it was fantastic and that I could identify with the narrator, but also agree that it can be juvenile and corny and wouldn't recommend it unless I was really confident it was their niche.
