Waldorf is a nice hotel but again (imo) falls short of Montage. It’s not located on the beach - so no direct access and doesn’t have the views of Montage. Again maybe not a priority for you in December though. It’s a more sprawling property so feels less intimate.
The Waldorf is nice
I haven't been back since its become the Waldorf Astoria, but that place was great too (but no direct beach access).
