Vue.js

Pros

• Previous clients were happy with small Angular/Vue apps, and I enjoyed the great DX from tools like Vite, Docker, and Swagger APIs
• the main tradeoff is you can't do the ultra-smooth offline-first stuff that react/vue excel at.
• Vue is great and all, but IMHO opinion its always a good idea to switch away from .net/sql server.
• We switched from React to Vue in 2021 (ish) and don't regret it for a moment. Vue is a more more sane ecosystem.
• vues got the best learning curve imo - feels more intuitive if youre coming from jquery or traditional server-side stuff. options api vs composition api gives you flexibility.

Cons

• So no React, jQuery, Vue, whatever, but actually build an understanding for what's happening and then you can dive deeper as you want.
• I had workeräd.with both angular and Vue before this - and many other utility frameworks.
• HTMX is good when you *don't actually need* a full-blown SPA. It's not just for "simple projects", it is built around a different philosophy than things like React/Vue/Svelte.
• Is Vue worth spending time on?
• I got hit with both the skyline question and the robot simulator question recently, absolutely ridiculous. I was like... uh... this is for the senior Vue developer position, right?!
