Volkswagen Jetta

Pros

• Honestly, those Jettas were solid cars. I wouldn't hesitate to buy that.
• If you want a sedan to lease, Jetta would be a good option.
• I test drove a base Jetta last week and was blown away by how good it was.
• I’m still going with the brand new Jetta lol
• You should look at a Jetta they are at the price point new and are quite nice.

Cons

• If the Jetta has a 2.5l engine - go for it. If it’s a 2.0l turbo - nope
• Do not get a Jetta unless you love having no money
• skip the high-mile Jetta unless you want to gamble on repairs.
• The Jetta is a lot of fun to drive. The Jettas I have driven are so 50/50 on reliability. 50% go 175k+ miles or more. Others have transitions that fail at 80k. The parts for german cars are more expensive on average also.
• I've had a Jetta in the past and loved it and found it generally reliable, but I sold it before it really needed to be tested.
