Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • Quality load cell dual pedals optionally bundled with the wheelbase: Simagic P1000, VRS DFP, VNM V1, SimLab XP1
  • For a wheelbase upgrade at the higher tier people seem to be gravitating more towards VNM and VRS mostly right now as the quality of the experience is top tier while also being cheaper and less restrictive than the old guard Simucube.
  • VNM are narrowly considered best of the best for wheelbases, with Asetek and Simucube close behind.
  • I'm looking for a new base as well, currently VNM is.at the very top of my list
  • For price/performance, the AliExpress pedals (Simjack, Simsonn, Simnet) are unbeatable and blow everything else out of the water until you get to the tier of the VRS, SimLab, or VNM pedals.

Cons

  • From what I've heard VNM with its new ffb is the best. However it's software is a little more clunky.
  • VNM is too much hit or miss from what I see.
  • I’ve considered Vnm but I don’t like how they only offer a 12 month warranty and being such a small company I’m worried about how good/bad support is.

Parent context: Dan Suzuki got asked this question about bases on one of his streams the other day and said vnm also... 👍 Reply: Dan Suzuki also puts the VNM as his favourite wheelbase at the moment. I think if you're buying new and don't plan on buying any of the wireless wheels, it's worth the tiny bit of risk.

Iirc, he said he has been using the VNM in his main sim for the last 2 years, and hasn't had any issue.
