Pros
- Vimeo has an excellent automatic subtitle generation these days which will automatically fix live speaker mistakes. I was really positively surprised about that.
- Don't sleep on Internet archive, dailymotion, vimeo, etc. Lots of tough to find media and can be streamed to your TV.

- To me vimeo is one of those dinosaurs that died a few years ago but it's brain hasn't noticed yet. Like we-transfer it now just feels like just another money grab company bought by some investment bank trying to squeeze as much out of it...
- They’re such trash now, I was part of their festival in 2010 and they seemed to genuinely care about creators and now they’re enshittified bloatware that isn’t worth it.
- I can’t even get a proper receipt for my subscription anymore. Like. Wasn’t the whole idea that it is video hosting for professionals? All pros obviously needs a proper receipt or Invoice.
- The free plan on Vimeo works okay so I could just make extra accounts purely for portfolio work.

The reason is just the idea of storing these on Vimeo or YT makes them exceptionally jumpy. Even if these are password protected. In part, it's because these vids also contain info which is borderline confidential and more public platforms like YT or Vimeo make them jumpy.
