Viberg 2030

Pros

• I came across a forum posy from a few months ago that said buying Oak Street Storm Boots is pretty close to Viberg 2030.
• I'm surprised. I never would've thought the boot you were asking for is so rare and MTO only, without going all the way up to the Viberg 2030 in color #8 Shell.
• I ultimately went with size 11D, which is the same size I wear in Viberg 2030.
• Forgot to mention in my review, but the leather was incredibly soft and supple out of the box. It required basically no break in time. The boot overall wasn't hard to break in.
• Trying to discipline myself and not buy more things than I can wear (but still looking every day for some shell and Vibergs 2030 which fit me very well)

Cons

• The 2030 truly is a shit last, now. These look so much worse than so many brands that are a third the price.
• What are comfortable alternatives to Viberg 2030 and White’s MP with quality materials/construction, brown chromexcel, and can be worn mostly casually while being capable of being slightly dressed up (not a dress boot)? ... Unfortunately...
• It's basically a Viberg 2030, but I can't say I really care about taking patterns.
• Parent context: Looking at 2030 9.5E Vibergs. Reply: probably not, E width Viberg is honestly somewhere between a D and E width overall and an F width is the PNW bootmaker way of saying EEE
• 2030 didn't work for me at all for similar reasons.
