Veeam

Pros

• Parent context: Care to elaborate? Reply: On top of that, Veeam is arguably the industry standard for a cheap, reliable backup, that works with just about any platform, with great customer support to boot.
• Veeam is pretty cheap. I have a 15 node license and we are paying 1200 a year.
• Veeam and synology do a pretty good job.
• Yup Veeam is great no matter what platform you're on. It was actually how we migrated so easily :). Like it was a piece of cake.
• It's easy too. Use Veeam which is free and gives you 30 day full trial. Back them up and then restore straight to Hyper-V.

Cons

• Veeam says not to.
• Veeam is anyway not known for its speeds.
• Tried taking a look into this Veeam program. The website is so fucked up that I couldn't find what products they offer, nor where to download, nor what the pricing is. Btw it seems you need to schedule a meeting to know the pricing.
• Veeam there's a no-go because there's no way I'm convincing my boss to spend $800 a year just for a backup license software for 15 computers.
• I had many pain points for veeam windows agents.
