Umbria is good for olive groves and hill towns like Spello or Norcia. It is less touristy than Tuscany.
A few years ago, we went to Rome + Umbria (Spoleto, Trevi) and want to go elsewhere.
I’d recommend looking in the Umbria region. ... It’s also not super touristy or expensive as some other areas in Italy.
Umbria could be a good option, it combines nature and history.
The Umbria region in general I would say is quite underrated
