AI summary of the Reddit excerpts below — not a quote

Tutorials Dojo is a highly regarded provider of practice exams and study materials, particularly favored by the Azure certification community. It is frequently cited as an essential final step in exam preparation due to its high-quality question banks and detailed explanations that help students understand the underlying logic of cloud services rather than just memorizing answers.

Pros

  • Comprehensive explanations for both correct and incorrect answers to deepen conceptual understanding.
  • Highly praised 'cheat sheets' that are often preferred over flashcards for final reviews.
  • Multiple study modes, including Review Mode for immediate feedback and Timed Mode to simulate the actual exam environment.
  • Topic-wise question sets allow users to target specific weak areas effectively.

Cons

  • Practice tests can feel repetitive after several rounds in review mode.
  • Case studies are reported to be less accurate reflections of the real exam compared to standard questions.
  • Occasional gaps in the catalog, such as the reported lack of an AZ-204 offering.

Caveats

  • Opinions on difficulty are mixed; while many find it on par with the real exam, a significant number of users feel it is slightly easier than the actual certification tests.
  • A high score on practice tests (85-90%) is generally recommended as the benchmark for readiness, but users warn against memorizing questions.

Best for

  • Candidates preparing for Azure certifications like the AZ-104.
  • Learners who want to identify and bridge specific knowledge gaps before sitting for an expensive exam.
  • Students who benefit from structured, logical explanations of cloud architecture.

Avoid if

  • You are looking for an exact replica of the exam's case study interface.
  • You are seeking a specific exam path that is not currently supported in their catalog.

Both TD and Measure Up don’t accurately reflect the case studies in my opinion.

I know this sub loves TD, but I'll be honest TD is MUCH MIUCH EAISER than the real test. ... That said, it really is the best practice test set out there and was worth the time and money.

Get the mock tests on Tutorials Dojo and just grind them. Aim for consistent 90 scores on the randomized tests and you’ll pass.

Also look into the Tutorial Dojo Practice Exams. The questions are made to be slightly more difficult than the actual exam but you know you are ready for the real exam if you can get passing scores on those. I remember when taking the 104 some of the exact same questions from the practice test popped up on exam day

The actual exam is surprisingly close to TD in terms of difficulty.

Main resources I used: * **Tutorial Dojo** (closest to the real exam but real exam was more tricky)

Up until a week ago, I was struggling with practice exams, couldn’t break 80% on Microsoft Learn and kept failing MeasureUp and Tutorial Dojo. But in the last few days, I finally started scoring better (70%+ on Dojo, 80–90% on Learn)

I used MeasureUp and Tutorial Dojo for practice questions. I found the actual exam a lot harder than what was provided as practice tests for either. I was scoring in the 90% range on all practice tests and felt super confident going in, got low 700s on the actual exam

I also used Tutorials Dojo, but unfortunately I still didn’t pass the actual exam.
