The Witcher (TV series)

Pros

• Andrzej Sapkowski - The Witcher series. Certainly for the modern pop culture influence and video games, but also for how important he was in really popularizing the "fractured fairy tales" approach to fantasy.
• Just remembered another - The Witcher !!! Premium quality entertainment!
• Except, surprisingly, the Witcher. It's originally in Polish and I speak Russian.. still ended up picking the English version as it somehow was better flowing for me (maybe because the show and the game are in English).
• So I love me some Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and similar fantasy stories
• Lots of grit and experience in the Witcher as well.

Cons

• Started off well then, what happened?: The Witcher
• Parent context: If you go check Visa and Mastercard terms, you'll see at least BG3 (not sure about The Witcher) is clearly breaking *their* rules, the fact it's still up doesn't mean it's not at risk. Reply: Do you realize The Witcher an...
• But we know that's the same reason Cavill left the Witcher, because some writers didn't even care to read the books.
• They just have to look at how The Witcher was completely fumbled and *not do that* and it'll be fine.
• Honestly making this show a success should have been a layup with how much free positive publicity the games and source material had already generated. They really had to work to fuck this up
