It was marketed as a YA novel and I have no idea how anyone though that was the right move lol, think it was tagged as like a 10th grade reading level in my high school growing up somehow (I vividly remember taking a community college course on Medical Terminology at the time of reading it and was continually learning words that the book was regularly using, was wild)

It came out way back in 2009, and I remember the literary style of it just kind of lighting up my brain at the time, I'd never really read anything like it.
The last book (I think?) was kind of weird and my least favorite, but now I want to reread them again.
