The Martian (film)

Pros

• (Both the Martian and Project Hail Mary would count imo, if that helps signal how broad I intend this to be.)
• But I’ll happily watch Damon video diary-ing in The Martian. That’s partly the script but also he’s just naturally more charismatic in low key scenes.
• The Martian, by Andy Weir.
• I would argue that The Martian is the superior book by a long shot. Just phenomenal.
• In sci-fi, I would suggest Project Hail Mary or The Martian. Nice, positive , happy novels.

• Saving Private Ryan, Interstellar, The Martian already make a trilogy.

• Before I got into it, the only sci-fi I’d ever read was the Martian.
