The Long Walk

If you enjoyed Apt Pupil and haven’t read The Long Walk, I’d highly recommend it!

I personally read The Long Walk for the first time this summer and it instantly became not just my top read of 2025 but also my favourite book of all time.

The Long Walk is amazing.

The Long Walk by Stephen King (not scary scary but disturbing, you already read tender is the flesh and I’d say the long walk is along those lines of disturbing. Like human nature at its worst kind of, it’s not nearly as bad as what they were doing in Tender is the flesh but it’s still not something we think our society would do)

The Long Walk and Roadwork are both *very* bleak.
