The Exorcist (film)

Pros

• The Exorcist by William Blatty is the obvious missing "literary horror" novel and very Halloween appropriate
• For the record I loved this book.
• If you haven’t heard The Exorcist read by the author William Peter Blatty, you’ve got to check it out. Blatty was an incredible reader and his gravely voice when he does the demon is so scary.
• I was terrified reading Salem's lot or the exorcist
• Have you read the exorcist yet? Incredible.

Cons

• IMO that's the only part of this book that doesn't hold up perfectly, that people are constantly like "Oh she can read minds and psychically open wounds on her body and fly her bed around the room like a magic carpet? Yawn, call me when...
• Especially interested in Legion cause I have yet to read the Exorcist either.
• The Exorcist -**When 12-year-old Regan MacNeil begins exhibiting violent, disturbing behavior**, her mother desperately seeks medical and psychiatric help but nothing explains the terrifying changes.
• Hmm 🤔: IT, The Exorcist, The Haunting of Hill House, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, and House of Leaves (maybe this way I’ll finish it)
• The Exorcist takes place in Georgetown in D.C.
