tag teams unique take in drafting and quick play is great too. ... Tag team does have its autobattler format but the ide of drafting and planning for opponents sequencing takes a beat to actually grasp.

Asymmetrical duel boardgames are my favorite genre, and Tag Team is my 2025 GOTY so far, I love everything about it!

Parent context: I've been playing this a bunch on BGA - still don't quite have a handle on it, mostly just putting cards wherever and somehow winning 50% of the time. My husband and I really are enjoying it. Like you said it’s short but sweet. We’ve played 6 games of it so far and enjoyed each one.

9/10 game. Highly recommended. Great variety of 12 cool characters. Confirmed more expansions to come! Short but sweet gameplay. Memory + little bluffing + little luck. Great art and graphics in characters and cards. Good mechanics (health and special trackers did a lot for each) and simple rules to remember.
