Pros

  • 10.7" Supernote for daily planning and note-taking
  • Check out Supernote also. There’s a ton of great artwork on their sub too
  • Supernote devices allow you to replace the battery, they don't have frontlight though
  • Still love it tho - and yes, one reason I went with it is because I am totally charmed by their approach to sustainability lol (my fav is the ceramic nib, replacing nibs is a drag xD)
  • I like the look of the Supernote. I wish they had a frontlight version (even while understanding why they opted out). I absolutely love the sustainable design of it, though.

Cons

  • I used a supernote for pdf reading. The lag is noticeable, not obnoxious or anything but definitely noticeable.
  • there are other brands (SuperNote, Viwoods, ReMarkable) but I _think_ these are generally more focused on writing and note-taking, and may or may not suit your needs.
  • Supernote is Android but no Google play store and more writing focused.

Great hardware, subpar software, zero guarantee your notes aren’t being viewed or used to train AI = I got a Supernote and didn’t look back (except to read sometimes).

Nah, the Supernote is a different breed - very much focused on writing and note-taking. It’s technically “running” (more like built on) Android, but an old version and you have to sideload apps.
