Reddit take

Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • I just added a superfeet insert - which helps as I feel my heel is more secure in the boot.
  • SOLE and Superfeet both make great insoles and will last a long time.
  • Super feet. Challenge is knowing which ones. And type of shoe you wear. Consider visiting a foot doc with those details. Save with using your FSA or HSA funds
  • Superfeet, PowerStep, and Tread Labs are the other brands I'd recommend.
  • I do put SuperFeet insoles in them as I don't think the factory ones have enough support.

Cons

  • I am NOT a fan of SuperFeet for PF because they are too generically fit to be of real benefit
  • Love Superfeet, but you definitely need time to get used to them. OP, if you try them, don't expect to wear them at your hike next week. They will make your feet hurt after about an hour of wear the first couple of weeks.

If you have flat feet, you likely need insoles to provide the support. ... I recommend Currex, Superfeet, or Tread Labs. They have different arch heights and thicknesses available.

Superfeet are mostly geared towards runners but they have those 1/2 insoles for dress shoes that need more arch support.

I got some superfeet insoles, they work better than the custom ones and I can get a half a dozen for all my different shoes.
