Subaru Ascent

Pros

• Subaru Ascent can also be a good family option. AWD standard is a real plus in Canada, decent feature set, and it does not attract much attention. I would just stick to later model years.
• Subaru Ascent is pretty good for what it’s worth, sure it’s a CVT which isn’t ideal but reliability of those are fine.

• I had to get new car quickly and on a budget so I got a used Subaru Ascent. So far so good!
• The Subaru Ascent is 76” wide and 197” long, and this has a pretty usable third row.

Cons

• i dont like the subaru accent personally but some may, i feel its cheap and not as good as others,
• Ascent has more usable 3rd row space. ... I've had Subarus and loved them, but haven't seen great stuff on recent ascent models so wasn't sure.
• I'm literally shopping to replace my '20 Ascent I've had for 21 months with no issues beyond the usual Subaru battery replacement and a wonky liftgate (19/20MY only issue) because of the boring factor. It's just too boring for me to enjo...
• The Subaru seems a bit more spacious and better option for the winter times, but less gas milage, and the CVT is always a potential concern, but the 2023 model seems pretty solid compared to the 2020 ones.
• Want to replace a transmission by 30k mi? Get an Ascent. ... That’s true, those cars suck
