Strandberg

Pros

• I do not like the locking headpiece personally. I prefer ones that you just pull straight through tighten down and clip. Like the one on the Ibanez Q series and Strandberg.
• My Strandberg (with a trem) stays in tune for a whole set, even with trem use. And i play metalcore and downpicks hard..
• I also have a strandberg, and my legators are definitely up there
• B stock Strandberg is $874, little above budget I know. The Hils would be my vote for the other 2.
• What guitar is it? I mean if ur having that thought id dump it, you should be in love with the new guitar... buy a strandberg :)

Cons

• the closest I've done to what you're describing was pay Sweetwater for a setup on a Strandberg I bought. They did a really bad job and left the guitar with terrible zero fret buzz and I had to have it redone.
• The fanned frets are way more extreme than my Strandberg and took a minute to get used to.
• I sold my Strandberg cause I couldn't stand the trem set up. It was before they did the newer designed one they have now.
• Ergonomically it’s much lighter than anything i ever played other than maybe a strandberg i tried for like 5 minutes and realized i didn’t gel with
• Too expensive for me, and I don't like the EndurNeck profile, and I think the stock pickups on the Essential and Standard models are not great.
