Specialized Roubaix

Pros

• Specialized Roubaix are very good endurance bikes due to their vibration dampening. They focus more on compliance and comfortable geometry.
• I've ridden a Roubaix for 15 years and I absolutely love it. But it's particularly designed for endurance, especially endurance on rough roads
• Rouabix has been a dream bike for me for quite a few years
• The Roubaix was an excellent bike and would recommend it
• On the other hand if you want long comfortable efficient miles in the saddle I’d say you should look for an endurance bike such as the Specialized Roubaix or the Trek Domane.

Cons

• It share more similarity to the Specialized Tarmac, rather than the Roubaix like the rest of the Allez line.
• The issue I have with Specialized is the pricing these days. I'm wanting electric shifting (105 di2 probably) and their Roubaix models seem to be quite a bit more expensive than competitors in this regard
• Currently have a 56” Specialized Roubaix (10 yrs old), and on this I even feel a bit too stretched.
• Parent context: I'd also consider the Specialized Roubaix but you will probably pay over budget... Reply: Considered but just not fan of its aesthetics. As you say price is much higher.
• I looked at the Roubaix, but I’m not sold on the Future Shock and it weighs significantly more than the Madone
