Pros
- If it's in the budget, the Skyrover x1 or S1 are pretty good and a little less or over the price of this one in the photo.
- Not sure if it's worth it but the Skyrover X1 is $400 on TTS, which is the exact dupe of the M4P.
- Just purchased a SKYROVER X1.
- The Skyrover X1 is a great drone. Flies well, good range, great camera quality. It's similar to the DJI Mini 4 pro.
- Got my Skyrover X1 during Black Friday, and the delivery was fast. Took it out for a quick test flight today and I was surprised by how steady it felt in the air. Still figuring things out, but so far the experience has been great.
Cons
- I did a skyrover X1 for a week and quickly realized I don't really care for a cine drone.
- Parent context: I was deciding between Mini 4 Pro and Skyrover X1, and ended up choosing the X1 because the price and the three-battery bundle were hard to beat. After a few flights, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The 4K footage is high...
- It's missing a few things. You can't do hyperlapse with waypoints. It doesn't have remote ID so you can't do paid work with it in the US unless you put a remote ID module on it. And there's one or two cinematic effects that aren't availa...

Parent context: I was deciding between Mini 4 Pro and Skyrover X1, and ended up choosing the X1 because the price and the three-battery bundle were hard to beat. After a few flights, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The 4K footage is high quality, the signal has been stable even in wide-open areas, and the GPS lock is very reliable. I tried shooting around sunset using the AI Night Mode and the results were amazing. It’s a solid choice in this price range. Reply: I'd be really upset if someone told me it was exactly the same and then I found out it doesn't have remote ID, the best part of hyperlapse is missing, the Mini 4 Pro ND filters and batteries don't fit, and the controllers aren't interchangeable.
I just ordered an extra battery for my X1 last week. Shipping was faster than I expected, and I also picked up a set of ND filters.
It's missing a few things. You can't do hyperlapse with waypoints. It doesn't have remote ID so you can't do paid work with it in the US unless you put a remote ID module on it. And there's one or two cinematic effects that aren't available. It's also not compatible with DJI controllers or batteries. I have the X1 and I'm perfectly happy with it.
