Pros

  • That would leave you with moza or simucube (they already have their active pedals)
  • But if for some reason I have to switch. It will be for Simucube. For me this is the way.
  • Simucube is still the GOAT, if you have endless funds then look no further, grab one of the Simucube 3 bases and some active pedals and enjoy.
  • Simucube every single time
  • I think if I was made of money, or won the lotto, or robbed a bank, or my dog started shitting gold nuggets, I would also go full simucube. Triple active pedals and a simucube 3, sign me up.

Cons

  • I am interested to upgrade my wheel base at a later moment to something like a Simucube though
  • Few years ago I was thinking that simucube is super overrated. Now, preparing myself for a new simagic, I understand that with little extra I could even get a Simucube base. But then I saw wheels... Starting from 800euros to 1400??? Real...
  • For a wheelbase upgrade at the higher tier people seem to be gravitating more towards VNM and VRS mostly right now as the quality of the experience is top tier while also being cheaper and less restrictive than the old guard Simucube.
  • Maybe go Simucube. Who knows.
  • Parent context: Simucube defenders are so funny. Ok, sure, most people won't notice it at average setting. But guess what, at the same nm, VNM is quite cheaper. It is newer, i.e., has a QR with a pass through. If you are on the marke...

Simucube - Kind of the gold standard by many accounts. Does things most others don’t yet, like downloadable user profiles including some vetted by real drivers. Individual car profiles and API support for them even in some games for unique feel on track. I hear nothing but good things and it keeps getting better but it demands high $$ given the gear to drive it.

other people go to Microcenter and get a Simucube + GSI wheel + VRS pedals for the same price, that's double the quality and true buy once cry once gear.
