Pros
- Overhead Govee lights configured via simhub are great for immersion and don't break the bank.
- Hi, yeah using simhub. You can capture an area of the screen to put on a dash. It also has a Bosch overlay with arrows above the cars like the IRL dash. It's fairly easy to do once you get the hang of it.
- Now I just gotta go spend 3 hours dialing in my new shakers on SimHub
- In my experience, SimHub gives you more flexibility and performs better.
- After setting them up I just use Simhub for haptics as the Simsonn software locked up a few times. I'm sure updates will fix that. Only thing Simhub can't do is clutch biting point but …
Cons
- you need to connect the motors that rotate the hands to some sort of a microcontroller and then make it talk to the game in SimHub.
- One thing that I'm yet to report to support is that I have to use SimHub for the haptics while playing LMU.
- also if using VR, be sure to setup VR motion compensation in simhub
- Parent context: The latest bonus, even with ACC EVO not talking to simhub yet (😢😢😢), I still have some semblance of useful pedal feedback w/ threshold abs. Reply: I don't know if it's what you mean, but my AC evo works through simhub...
- The logic for how force is applied is written in JS within the SimHub custom device UI, so easily tweaked.

It's a SimHub peripheral add-on so every part of it can display anything SimHub allows.
Parent context: Does it work?! That’s a great deal if it does Reply: It works! I've been messing around with the display in SimHub all night.
