Reddit take

Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • ServiceNow - (senior stuff, not just opening tickets). Almost every major company uses it as the basis for their operation. Two years ago a client couldn’t find a single person so fill a role.
  • ServiceNow is incredible when done right. And 99% of companies don't use it or set it up properly.
  • ServiceNow > both.

Cons

  • Not sure about bluetally, but I can tell you to avoid ServiceNow and Freshservice. ServiceNow is a timesink
  • For the love of god, please do not use ServiceNow.
  • The main tools in our very convoluted process are Archer, ServiceNow, LeanIX and of course Excel.
  • Parent context: I’m pretty sure this sub hates it, but ServiceNow will do all that Reply: With the added bonus of having to hire someone to manage $500k baby
  • Parent context: We're a 20 employee company. Everyone I've spoken to said we'd start at 50k annual and go up from there...compared to 1k-2k/annual for JSM/FS. Is SNOW not as expensive as I think it is, or are you saying it's worth 25-50X...

We just moved from Jira to Servicenow as part of an acquisition and SNOW has been absolute dogshit. Slow to load views and pages, overly complex and painful to navigate… Awful product

What else is out there that's great and won't obliterate my wallet (I'm looking at you service now).
