Selfie Stick

Pros

• Yes. Still a thing. Most people out and about do not care whether you use a stick or not. Just be mindful of your surroundings. Don’t do it in crowded places, and definitely not in museums, galleries or other places that ban them.
• I bought a selfie stick for my last trip and actually have a few decent pictures. Go for it. Who cares what other people think?
• I finally gave in for an Iceland trip as a couple, wanting go out pics together with so many beautiful sceneries and you do feel silly, but it is worth it to have the photos.

Cons

• From what I can say very subjectively, it just seems dumb and cringe-worthy. It takes up space and gets in the way in crowded places (I've been physically inconvenienced by it several times). It's obnoxious. There have also been several...
• They were always dumb and awkward.
