Pros

• I loved the Home Alone one. Hardest I’ve laughed at SNL in a while.
• To this day I'm still kind of surprised SNL went there, but I'm glad they did because this is one of the all time greats for sure
• One of my all time favorites.
• it was him hosting SNL in 2011 when he starters showing his comedic chops. He was hilarious in the Target lady sketch
• IMO it’s one of the best time capsules of media culture throughout the past 50 years and even though I’m only 33 years old I’ve grown up watching SNL since I was in junior high.

Cons

• Also wrote for *SNL* in Season 16 & 17.
• I’m probably in the minority but I’m ready to see Weekend Update turned over to new hosts at this point. I have no issues with Che and Jost but they’ve been doing it for so long that it’s about time for a revamp.
• Parent context: Me, too. Shane Gillis just hosted and didn’t light the world on fire; why is he back so soon? It doesn’t feel fresh. Reply: Because he’ll pull an incredible amount of viewers, im a fan of Shane mostly his podcast, I could...
• Kinda feels like they’re cycling through a lot of the same people. Also kinda feels like they’re cycling through the same jokes.
• we got in Living Color, which honestly seemed superior to SNL at the time.
