• If you want crowd pleaser, go Santal 33.
• Santal 33 was very popular among the more fashionable set about 10 years ago
• I myself just tried Santal from a sample and loved it and am considering to buy a bottle.

• I can see why it’s their most popular scent. While I’m not a sandalwood guy, this scent is perfect if you like it. Great opening notes with distinct sandalwood aroma, and dries down to a really rich and slightly sweeter base.

Cons

• I distinctly recall an early evening in 2017, on a street corner in the east village, waiting for the light to turn and being absolutely choked out by the 7-10 women also waiting to cross the street wearing santal 33.
• I never liked how it smelled on me, but I did like Commodity Book, which is very similiar.
• Santal 33 doesn’t smell like NYC. Certainly not today and it probably never did.
• Santal 33 has haunted me since it hit the streets of LA in 2014…that’s when EVERYONE started wearing it and it’s TERRIBLE 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
