Sabrent IB-3805-C31

I have a IB-3805-C31 with Exos drives. I use it with EXT4 and MergerFS. It spins down idle drives. It is not silent but still very quiet. It very robust. Highly recommended. Also sold under the Sabrent brand.

I have a 5 bay DAS (IB-3805-C31) for media storage and a 10 bay DAS for backups. Both with 10Gbps USB. Works very well.

My IB-3805-C31 5 bay DAS is pretty quiet. Also I let the drives spin down when idle.

I am very pleased with my IB-3805-C31. Sabrent has it as well. 5 bays. 10Gbps USB C, unlimited size SATA3, built-in PSU, daisy chain USB, relatively silent, spins down idle HDDs, extremely robust.

I have a few years good experience with IB-3805-C31. Sabrent DS-SC05B. I use it with Ubuntu MATE, mergerfs and Exos drives. Never had any problems.

I have had a great experience with IB-3805-C31. It is also sold as Sabrent DS-SC5B. I even bought a second identical enclosure.

I have two DAS. One 5-bay IB-3805-C31 and one 10 bay IB-3810-C31. ... The drives in the 5 bay DAS are allowed to spin down, so it goes very quiet. Only a silent fan audible if you are close.
