RTX 4050 laptop

Pros

• 4050 has the anti hair wrap beater bar and better accessories. 👍
• If you prefer Windows and want solid gaming power under 80k: HP Victus 15 (R7 8845HS + RTX 4050) – https://amzn.to/3Y4vJE8 Both give you real GPU performance and strong CPUs. Downsides: heavier and the battery won’t last as long.
• If you can afford a P14s at all and care about GPU at all, you're far better off looking at any discounted 4060 or even 4050 laptop.
• even something like a 4050 can sit on a lower temp while giving far higher fps.
• Keep in mind that any serious game requires at least an rtx 4050

Cons

• You can put something half-reasonable in a laptop.. like a 4050 or 4060 mobile rtx, and strategically limit it to never really go towards the 100W-120W it actually needs, and have somewhat decent performance.
• never buy a xx50 nvidia, I've had one
• it's known for having the slowest version of Nvidia's RTX 4050 on any laptop, or machine in general. Just 30W!!!
• I have Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 laptop GPU driver at 2024/08/30.
• As for the GPU, of course RTX4050 would be better for gaming, but don't get your hopes too high, it's pretty limited by TDP (30W, but I flashed it with 40W vBIOS).
