It’s not really what I didn’t like but that Rosewood didn’t stand out…everything was fine…the hard product setup I’ve seen before better…bora bora, Maldives and many places in Asia done better. The food was fine, the beach fine…all fine but nothing great
I was very underwhelmed with Kona Village (just stayed a couple weeks ago) - I do not understand the love for this place.
Kona is not even a recommendation I would give in the region around north America or Hawaii itself…so many better places
KV is a beatiful resort, but absolutely atrocious service. I won't ever return to KV - will stay next door at Hualalai and walk to the KV beach for the snorkeling.
Kona Village has one of my favorite setups for that. They have some of the best snorkeling on the island with direct access from the resort beach, my wife also swam with dolphins in that cove.
