Pros
- Booked the rosewood Amsterdam later this year for the tub set into the window overlooking the canals, so excited to report back on that one.
- Pretty amazing property. I love adaptive reuse architecture and they really did a wonderful job of preserving the space while converting it to a modern use. The artwork throughout the property is a feature in and of itself. Staff is very...
Cons
- This is not the vibe I am looking for in a property. It says I used the Shining as my decor inspiration.
- Yeah this just looks like some standard Marriott at a freeway exit. I can't fathom paying €1,000 per night for this. Why not Conservatorium for that price?
- Looks grim to me.
- Looks like a Korean boutique hostel.
- This looks depressing and it’s also covering an entire block if I remember from when I saw it under construction. It’s just not right.

Property visually leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.
Horrible pictures…
Yeah, it has a "AC by Marriott but make it dark" vibe. And I always think the AC has a Patrick Bateman's apartment vibe. So wipeable. . . .
Pretty amazing property. I love adaptive reuse architecture and they really did a wonderful job of preserving the space while converting it to a modern use. The artwork throughout the property is a feature in and of itself. Staff is very earnest but admittedly still finding their was (as would be expected given how long it's been open). Concierge was great. Food and drinks were solid. Breakfast was lovely. Room was super quiet and comfortable (ours had 20 ft ceilings). Location is walkable to everything. Felt like a bargain at ~1,000 Euro / night.
