Pros
- We have sailed from LA and Seattle to Sydney a couple of times. We love cruising and hate 16-hour flights. Repositioning cruises ARE one way. Love them.
- My bff did HNL to SYD about 10 years ago. It was 2.5 weeks. They loved it.

I would just say be aware that repositioning cruises are often not like other cruises. Sometimes, there is little to no entertainment or they are working on new shows. There might be fewer restaurants or venues or sections of the ship open as they are being worked on. There are a lot of sea days. They can be awesome and can be cheap if you know what you are getting into and you like what they offer.
