Pros

  • Parent context: As someone who has owned both, RUN back to Purple and purchase. Reply: Have a sleep number. Sibling got one and loves it. Each side independently adjustable for firmness. Never really cared for it.
  • If I had to pick between thr two and price and other factors are an issue I'd go with the purple. We liked it when we tried it but budget was a big issue there as we wanted a good adjustable base to go with it.
  • A few years ago we bought a Purple. Best mattress hands down. Still holds its shape well and cool in the summer. Expensive, but worth it.
  • I realized the budget ones all felt basically the same as the expensive mattresses(except purple felt far different)
  • Go for: Saatva, Purple or Tempur-Pedic

Cons

  • Out of all the beds from purples to tempurpedic he liked this one
  • Note though, it's a pita finding fitted sheets for it because it's not a traditional mattress.
  • Did my research online and decided to test Brooklyn, Winkbed, Purple, and few other brands at my local mattress stores. But only brands they had in store were Purple, Searly, and Casper.
  • Not to be contrarian, but I absolutely hate mine and I’m here specifically because I’m looking for an alternative to my Purple after 5 years of pretending I find it comfortable lol
  • Purple is okay, that’s it.
