Pros
- They are a very reputable company and the build quality is something else, quite like ECM. Their E61 machines seem indestructible really.
- Get a tried and tested brand like the Profitec and it will last longer even without the warranty.
- If you’re okay with no warranty and shipping, a Profitec or Lelit might give better home-espresso vibes, otherwise local commercial machine + local support could be less hassle.
- The Profitec is a joy to use, and I can't believe the difference it's made re: my ability to pull consistent shots and steam significantly better milk.
- I’m a fan of the Profitec brand of espresso machines.
Cons

- Profitec is a related company.
- Considering gaggia or profitec, but open to suggestions 👍

I would personally prefer an ECM or Profitec over this new Magister offering.
But, they are not really a buy it for life kind of appliance in the same way a Gaggia, Profitec, or Ranchilio might be.
