Oral-B

Pros
- Anecdotal, but my first Oral B lasted me ~14 years, the second one has been going strong since 2017-2018 or so.
- Anecdotally, I’ve had a Sonicare break after a few years of use, and an Oral-B that is still going strong after a decade.
- Oral-B has the edge in some having mostly negative reviews about receiving used toothbrushes, which is somewhat promising...
- My brother praises his Oral-B.
- I love my oral b.
Cons
- switched to OralB (which has also started making kinda funny noises less than a year in)
- while the Oral B is stronger, the ultrasonic brushing of the Sonicare is more effective at cleaning teeth.
- I tried the Oral-B at my dentist's office and it felt way more aggressive, almost like it was gonna strip my enamel off lol
- I recently got an Oral-B after a few years of manual toothbrushes and oh boy do they feel cheap and horrible now. Battery is also awful.
- I switched to Sonicare (prefer it) a long time ago because the Oral B had ni/cad batteries while Sonicare had lithium.

I used an Oral B for years and ended up having to have a gingivectomy (no fun, I promise) because the Oral B hastened my gum recession.
