mary and nestlings by nat cassidy (difficult to put these into words tbh 😭)
am currently reading his book Nestlings which I love. What I like is that they are bloody/macabre and in the case of Nestlings it gives chills down your spine from page one.
And if enjoy that, I'd pair it with Nestlings, by Nat Cassidy, which also deals with motherhood, sketchy neighbors, and a historic apartment building.
I just read Nestlings and I had the same thought! I was like "finally, a somewhat realistic portrayal of postpartum. This lady must have kids."
I definitely recommend Nestlings and When the Wolf Comes Home by him too!
Currently enjoying nestlings.
nestlings and when the wolf comes home are amazing tho i highly recommend anything by nat cassidy
I’m reading Nestlings by Nat Cassidy right now and motherhood definitely plays a huge part in the story. I was kinda mixed on it
I feel like all the popular ones (Nestlings, Rosemary’s Baby, Witchcraft for Wayward Girls) are written by men. I have no problem with them, in fact I think those authors are fantastic.
Nestlings is great.
