Suggest you go to Costa Rica. FS for the beach (not as good as beaches in Hawaii or Thailand) and then Nayara Tented Camp. Lots of activities there including hiking the volcano, rafting, waterfall climbing etc.
You can split your week between Nayara Tented Camp and FS Papagayo or the new Nekajui.
