Pros

  • So I own a Mavic 3 pro and a Avata 2. Both are great for what they are built for.
  • I’m using the Mavic 3 Pro.
  • Most of my work actually came from my Mini 3 Pro, only a few shots from my Mavic 3 Pro for my drone shots.
  • The second lens on the Air 3 is "3x", on the Mavic 3 Pro (and 4 Pro), it's "7x" (well, "6.5x" on the 4 since "1x" isn't quite as wide), so you're getting the full sensor at 1x, 3x and 7x. It makes quite the difference.
  • Well, the Mavic 3 Pro has a longer zoom lens than the Air 3 (169mm vs 70mm), so getting nice compression is easy. The main sensor is also much better on the Mavic than the Air 3.

Cons

  • But I have the same problem with my Mavic 3 Pro. And sharpness from the Mavic isn’t any better except when I’m shooting at higher ISO.
  • Mine was just last week. Mavic 3 pro.

For me, the Mavic 3 Pro is intermediate, as the big boys are the Inspire/Matrice families (talking all DJI here).

I personally don’t do anything crazy with my Mavic 3 pro. Too big of an investment.
