Pros
- Marty Supreme
- I *think* I would put Marty above the other two but I don’t know if that’s a popular opinion. It’s maybe a little less chaotic than the others but it’s still chaotic nonetheless and if you enjoy that kind of vibe then you won’t be disapp...

Just watched today. If you like uncut gems your gonna like Marty supreme. Marty film moves at the same tempo as uncut. It was hard to pick a moment in which the film slows down. I don't care for Timmy as an actor. Genuinely don't care about his previous performances. But I thought he did good. Josh safdie did a great job with this film. I think the hate is a bit ridiculous lol.

This movie changed my mind. The movie is probably the best of the year for me. Not only that, the performance feels like the arrival of a new movie star. Finally I was like “oh, I get it.” And if he continues to turn in performances and films of this quality then I do think he’ll be on his way to becoming one of the greats. I want this movie to succeed because it’s great on all fronts and also because it’s the type of film that we’re always complaining about never being made anymore.
I just came back from it and it was honestly amazing, exceeded my expectations which were super high.
The average rating is immense. Holy hell!
The movies have rarely given us such an entitled underdog, and it’s both mesmerizing and maddening to watch this arrogant table-tennis prodigy ricochet from high to low for nearly two and a half hours. In the defining performance of his still-burgeoning career, Timothée Chalamet — aka “Marty Supreme” — makes you want to believe in this instantly iconic character too
This might be the second best ping pong movie ever made, only behind Balls of Fury.
