Lexus IS

Pros

• Or the best Lexus IS you can find. For 12k it will have some mile but they are very reliable.
• The Lexus IS still offers what you're after, but not new at that price point.
• Toyota has been selling the 2GR V6 in the Lexus IS - same engine, in the same state of tune, and in large part the same chassis - since Model Year 2006. That’s 20 years, god damn it.
• a used Lexus IS might be worth checking, good looks and way less headache than European brands maintenance wise.
• You can’t go wrong with a Lexus IS or ES. If I were buying used at that price point, I’d look at Lexus first. You’ll get peace of mind on reliability.

• Parent context: Shoulda went w the Lexus imo but congrats, hope it goes well Reply: This is leaps and bounds better than the tired and dated IS. Solid reliability too.
• Lexus IS looks too much like a Camry to me, and isn’t exciting enough.
• if you want sporty plus comfort go for the Lexus IS it’s more fun to drive feels tighter on the road but yeah it is smaller inside even I felt it was a bit cramped
