Leviton

Pros
- I’ve had no issues with the Levitons.
- You can get them from Lowe’s as well, Leviton brand. Work well.
- Leviton, as mentioned by u/realdlc is a good alternative, but as stated, they need the proprietary slave switch.
- Leviton is a US company and has the advantage that they have no-neutral switches using Z-Wave
Cons
- Leviton and GE devices are rather solid, but lack configurability and features;
- I never understood why Lutron didn’t make outlets; I use Leviton for plug in devices
- many vendors like Leviton seem to be dropping new zigbee devices.
- I think the best solution is replacing each switch with a smart fan switch, like a Lutron (needs hub) or Leviton (no hub), or whatever brand works with the existing smart plugs/bulbs you already have.
- Other than that Leviton is very solid. ... the Leviton unfortunately has no support for scene control if you might use that in the future.

I’ve tried a bunch over the years - bunch of Tuyas (Treatlife), Meross, Leviton, etc. Most had issues except for my Lutron Caseta switches.

The el-cheapo Levitons are notorious for melting under EV charging load.
I like that the Leviton uses terminals instead of jumper wires. But otherwise, they're all mostly the same. ... I don't particularly like the Leviton dimmer.
It should, and most can, but there are certain cheaply made outlets that can have problems, specifically a shallow one made by Leviton.
