Pros

  • speaking from experience, My friend has the Vivobook, and I have the Yoga (exact same as OP), and ive noticed, build quality is much better on the Yoga, as well as the typing experience and the quality of the screen.
  • the double fans keep the Yoga insanely cool even uder AAA titles
  • i have the yoga, better cooling, better ssd (samsung oem), the igpu gets fed 50w according to stats from amd software overlay, and i think better ports from the asus. ... and the battery is better in the yoga
  • I can't speak for the vivobook s14 however I do own that yoga 7 pro and I can assure you, the build quality is phenomenal.
  • the Yoga Pro 7 (Ryzen AI 9-365) has a noticeably better build quality and overall premium feel

Cons

  • Same situation for the Lenovo YOGA Pro 7 and the Acer Swift AI. Seems almost impossible to find a laptop with the HX 370 with the 890M igpu.
  • And my main concerns about the yoga is that I have seen a lot of people complaining about it's battery life and just generally if I'm paying that much for a laptop I want good build quality where I think the macbook excels .

The Lenovo allows a higher TDP so you’ll actually get more performance. So you have to choose thin/light (Zenbook) vs performance but thicker (Lenovo).

Just bought this laptop it’s on its way rn but I’ve heard it to be an extremely good laptop. Heard the battery life is pretty good but def not as good as MacBook.

I know that the screen is really nice and the performance is more than I need as a student and developer
