- You want flat, go Lems or some other barefoot shoe. They have almost 0 arch support. I have the Lems Primal 3s and just did 12 miles with them today. Have had them for a year and they still look brand new.

Lems are good, but... they are also minimalist. If you're used to walking around in shoes with thick soles and padding, you're in for a surprise. Especially on cobblestones.

Personally though, i still find lems more comfortable. I have flatish feet and after wearing 0 drop shoes, arch support and drop aren’t comfortable.
Those exact Lems are my most commonly worn shoes for everyday but I don’t travel with them just bc I prefer something a bit more supportive when I travel since I walk A TON while traveling.
