Pros
- Parent context: I’m actually selling mine! Maybe this might actually be the car for you. Will do you for 50k, which is in your budget :)) Reply: For reference, as a 28 year old man who just bought his dream car, I would’ve KILLED to have...
- Kia stinger is a great car too for overall performance and drive with reliability and no issues at all
- I have a stinger and I haven’t had any reliability issues? I don’t think it’s typical either
- A Kia stinger is just a fast.
- For fun sedans that’s more reliable than others I’d say a Lexus IS 350 with the 3.5 v6, Infiniti q50 (avoid the modern turbos, only the NA 3.7 v6), or a Kia Stinger
Cons
- The stinger/g70 has always been thirsty for the size.
- Just remember that its still a luxury car and will have some luxury maintenance costs (tires are expensive, and basic maintenance can be a pain to do yourself).
- My mechanic works at Kia and he says the work to change the battery is insane. People can’t stomach the cost to maintain
- Reliable? Yes. But things wear out and when they need to be fixed, youre looking at euro car repair bills. They had different size tires front and rear so getting extra miles out of a set by rotating them was a no go. The rad hose had to...

Young man, if this gentlemen is willing to sell to you for 50k. I would be appreciative and take it!

And (gonna be biased here, because i own one and like it. Lol) I'm not sure "couldn't sell them new" is entirely accurate. They weren't a high volume car for sure, but they sold *alright* for a sporty sedan.
I used to have one of these cars. It's really hard to say no with the drivetrain warranties that Kia offers. But $30,000 just seem really low for a 4-year-old used Stinger.
If the car comes up clean, there's nothing wrong with this car. It's basically an entry performance BMW with a warranty that outlasts most BMWs.
