K2 Alchemist

Pros

• I like my k2 alchemist a lot as a pow and tree board! Kind of expensive unless you snag a deal on old stock, but it was great in steep trees and deep days in Japan and Colorado while still being burly enough for bigger freeride stuff. Ea...
• I replaced my Mercury with a K2 alchemist for deeper days and freeride
• Really digging the K2 Alchemist for this.
• Aggressive rider, 6'5" and 200lbs, ride big boards like the K2 alchemist, United shapes cadet for my daily driver - love tapered big mtn/pow boards in pow, or trenching groomers and finding side hits.
• A lot of board brands have a hybrid "camrock" shape in their lineup: camber between your feet and rocker in the nose for powder. Burton does the Hometown Hero and Gril Master like this, Nidecker's Alpha and Beta, K2 Alchemist, etc.

Cons

• Parent context: Really digging the K2 Alchemist for this. Reply: Alchemist will def punish you if you’re not locked in. That board wants to *go* all the time
• So far I’ve reviewed: 1. K2 Alchemist
• K2 Alchemist and Asassin is mostly what’s been suggested to me.
• Been looking a lot at the jones flagship/pro and the k2 alchemist.
• Alchemist, antidote, passport, instrument, or manifest… depending on how directional you want it to be etc.
